FUTURE CANADIAN APPLYING TO HARVARD AND STANFORD

Hi
I'm in grade 10 in Canada.
I was wondering when applying do you have to submit your entire high school transcript?
High school where i live is grades 8-12, while high school in the US is 9-12.
So when applying do i have to submit my ENTIRE transcript?
Because i messed up in grade 8 and because of a lot of family problems and depression, i ended up getting an F for one term ( though my final mark for the subject was a B) but i also got a few Cs.
I was wondering if it will entail in me losing my chances to get in the schools of my dreams.
In grade 9 i got straight As and this year i also have straight As( i'm in an AP course and all honours)
I'm also doing ECs that i'm passionate about and i'm an executive for an important club.
My GPA this term was 4.31.
So if i keep up the work, do more APs and get a good SAT and the whole schmoly, will i have a chance?

The applications are done online and your guidance counselor will send a copy of your transcript to the school’s you apply to. I imagine your 8th grade year will be on there if it is considered high school, however, I don’t think universities will look at an 8th grade year transcript. You’re doing fine so far, just keep getting As, get a 2200+SAT and get involved in clubs/sports and you’ll have as good a chance as any.
