Okay, I'm not going to go into too much detail but I just want to lay down the solid facts to see what my chances are when it comes to getting into Claremont McKenna. I'm a incoming senior with a 3.7 GPA (hoping to boost it next year, sophomore year wasn't good to me) I'm taking AP English IV, Political Philosophy, AP Bio, Comparative Government, Student Council (I'm senior class historian), Econ/Psychology, & Advanced Woodwind Ensemble. (Last year I took AP English III, AP US History, French III, Chemistry, Pre-Calc, and Advanced Woodwind Ensemble.)
I took the SAT in May without any prep and got a 2100 but I'm going to actually study and take it again in the fall along (going for a 2200-2300 and up) with the ACT (which I will probably take a second time as well unless my scores are stellar the first time). I will be able to get excellent recommendations, I've done volunteer work at a skilled nursing facility since I was like 13, and I'm in cross country, marching band (drum majorette next year ~woot~), YMCA Youth Government (Representative this year, hopefully senate floor leader next year), Frisbee Club, etc. So can anybody give their opinion on my chances on getting into CMC? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

You have a good chance, but are definitely not in the top chunk of candidates because of that GPA.
