Hey Carissa,
That's awesome Carissa! Contact your local hospital to see if anyone is willing to speak for your club. Also, this may not work, but you could contact other schools in your area and have competitions. You could have a medical day. Medical discussions, doctors giving speeches etc etc (something like this is mentioned in the thread 3 or 4 ones before me)

Also, could anyone reply to my "need help" thread. please....

Thanks, sangeetmondal! And I wish I could help you, but I don't really know what I would do. Definitely stay in the club! Maybe give your ideas to the president and hope they become inspired? And if not, you can offer to take on responsibilities for any projects you have.

Carissa,
My name's Sangeeta by the way. So you don't have to type in all of my username. I already did that. That's how I know they have a complete lack of motivation- they weren't willing to consider it because they have to change their name and probably some other issues. But that was the one that they were highlighting. It could bring the FPA at our school a lot of publicity but they're being lazy.
I've been debating a club that deals with all health professionals, but it's too much ground to cover. This totally sucks...what's worse is that they're doing it ALL for college not b/c they want to.

Anyone have a sample constitution that they would like to share?

Original_usernam....I'm sorry but I have no sample constitution.

For all those officers in Future Doctors of America clubs, how are the members like? Are they ambitious? Do they want to get stuff done? Or are they lazy? Or inbetween?
Approximately how many members are there in a club?

Hi, i was reading that many of you were interested in starting a high school chapter for this club... i am still wondering if you guys are still doing that... contact my by leaving me a message. I would love to hear activities you do or know about up coming events in the bay area since our club does not have many activities... just some doctors talks and field trips.

There is a statewide program in Arkansas, (going national within a year or two) that allows anyone to start a chapter in their local town. Doctors of Tomorrow started up as a local small town club that is now statewide (all in just one year!) I happen to be the co-founder of DOT and I would love to have you all start a club in your local town. If you would like more information, just email me at wes.dawson@doctorsoftomorrow.net or visit our website at www.doctorsoftomorrow.net.

Like I said, we are just in Arkansas right now, but we will be going national soon. Even if you don’t live in Arkansas and you would like to start a DOT club, email me so I can contact you when we do decide to go national.

Thanks!

I started a Physicians of Tomorrow group at my school - we meet twice a weeks and discuss ethical issues answell as some of the more practical science based appications of medicine. We are also putting out monthly leaflet on our findings and discussions.

I would just like to give an update about Doctors of Tomorrow. We are now a national organization with requests to start clubs all over the nation. If you would like to start a DOT club in your area, please visit [Doctors of Tomorrow – To promote healthcare through education](http://www.doctorsoftomorrow.net) and click the link under the “Want to start a DOT club” heading. It will send an email to our national president and will allow her to contact you with more information.
Thanks!

If you would like to be affiliated with Doctors of Tomorrow, (you would have to change the name to Doctors of Tomorrow), please feel more than welcome to contact our national president. Just go to this link: https://doctorsoftomorrow.net/content/start_a_club.php

After you complete the form, our national president will get in touch with you with more information on how to affiliate your club with Doctors of Tomorrow.
Thanks!

The Link above is dead. Go to [Doctors of Tomorrow](http://www.doctorsoftomorrow.net) and click on Get Involved! to learn more!

Thanks

Hey wesdawson,
I’m definitely interested in starting a DOT club but I live in Maryland. Would that be a problem? Also, do you have any plans for large events? Thanks!

I would stick with [FPA Network Forums - The Front Page](http://www.fpaclub.com)

They’re on my side 24/7
