<p>Flipped to a live Education Committee hearing this week. Was interested to see discussion of "smarter" budget application & oversight for the CA campuses, including the U.C.'s. Don't have a link to any published transcript or summary yet. What I heard was that there was consideration of not approving future building dollars without better 12-month (vs. 9- or 10-month) utilization of campuses & associated revenue. Some members of Senate want to see better full-annual enrollment dollars coming in. I'm wondering if that's being discussed in any of your States, too.</p>
