Hello, I have been a silent reader of Collegeconfidential and this forum has done remarkably great for all those who are seeking help for admissions.

I have recently done my BS in electrical engineering. I have been a pretty bright student in my school and then high school. In fact, I was among top 5 among more than 30,000 candidates. But when I went into engineering, our financial condition took a downturn and I had to work online to make both ends meet. However, even then I manage above 3GPA in my bachelors. Now everything is fine and I am going to do masters in electrical engineering and I am pretty hopeful I will maintain 3.8 or 3.9 GPA as the conditions are pretty stable now.

I want to ask you people about what my chances will be for PHD in universities like RPI, UIC (universities offering major in power electrical engineering)etc..Again, I am looking for full funding for my PHD as I can not afford extortionate tuition fees.

Thanks and your comments will be very very appreciated...
