I am a senior and CSUMB is currently my first choice school. I have a rather high gpa and
I can get into other schools, but when I toured the school I thought that it was beautiful and I liked the fact that it was still expanding.

However, I will live on campus and I do not want it to be a ghost town when I am there on the weekends, will this be the case?

Also, the Black Box cabaret is open until about 2 in the morning on weekends or something like that, so id think it wouldnt be very empty on the weekends.

Can anyone give me a heads up as what it is like to live on campus?

there are some comments on studentsreview dot co_m for CSU Monterey campus life that may be of interest.

I’d take the reviews from the above cited web site with a grain of salt. There aren’t many and most of what are there are OLD! CSUMB is a great school and with this year’s entering frosh class being larger and more academically gifted than ever before it is bound to become more lively!

If you get there and find that it is too slow moving for you than that’s the time to take the initiative and start something new for people to do. Fortunately because it is still a relatively small CSU you can do that fairly easily at CSUMB.

Good Luck with your choice. My daughters were both accepted there and though they both chose another campus I would have been very happy for either of them to attend CSUMB.
