FWS income ( Federal Work Study )

D always filled out 1040EZ tax form for her income . This year is the first she also declares income from FWS . That income appears taxable and is lumped in with her regular non-FWS income , right ??

Also if she got an assistantship that paid her last semester ? Should we be expecting a form in the mail from it to declare income as well ??

If so, does that exclude her from filing 1040EZ and moves her to a 1040A form ?

yes work study is taxable income
however on FAFSA there is a place for it so that while it is considered part of income for IRS- it is considered part of aid package for FASFA and doesn't count against you.
I don't know if you will get a w-2 for all income, I have income I don't get a w-2 for, but you have to add it in anyway.
Isn't EZ more about if you have a certain level of income?
