I've been accepted to a number of schools but have narrowed it down to GA Tech and RPI. Right now I am looking for any information that could sway my opinion either way. I applied ME to both and am interested in doing work in biomedical engineering.

At least as of last year, RPI could have been doing better. For example:

Choose gatech if you’re really interested in BMED. My roommate is a BMED major and from what he tells me it sounds like a challenging and interesting major. + Tech is second or third for BMED in the latest ranking (fifth of fourth for ME).

Tech is only behind johns hopkins in BMED, and there’s tons of opportunities for vounteering/research at Emory Medical Center, not to mention collaborations with the med school at Emory. Tons of my friends are BMED, and they love it. The program here at Tech really emphasizes working in teams, for resarch purposes, so it’s a great program both for learning the academics, but also for adapting to the dynamic of working with research teams.
