GA Tech vs. Harvey Mudd

So, which one is better for Engineering (especially Chemical Eng.)?

thanks,
ansar

PS - It's also pretty good for sciences in general, right?

Depends how hard you are willing to work.

They are both good it depends on what you like. HMC has a core and has required classes, while GA Tech does not. GA Tech is a big state school, while HMC is small. GA Tech is much more easier to get accepted then HMC. If you were a GA resident then it would be GA Tech no doubt but you are not.

Oh Tech has required classes, plenty of them…basically your whole first year is general required classes that everyone takes. Our chemical engineers do really well. 2 of which I know have obtained jobs with a 70k+ salary. Although this might be the norm for that industry. ChemE is also quite possibly one of the hardest majors Tech offers.

It’s awfully hard to compare two schools that are as different as GTech and Mudd.

At Mudd, students spend their first two years in required classes that everyone takes.
