Hey guys, I'm having trouble choosing which university to go to for a business major. I am an instate student so Georgia Tech and UGA Honors will both be pretty cheap (less than $20k). However, I would be paying over $40k to attend either Emory or USC (my dream school). The business programs at these four schools are all pretty good, but I was wondering if it was worth the extra student debt to attend a college like Emory or USC that has more prestige for a business degree. Thanks

I’d suggest that GT has more cache here in the mid-atlantic states than UGA, and it’s cheaper than the others by 80K. You’ll get a great education as well.

Four great choices!

Would that be $20K of additional debt, each year, if you went ot USC or Emory? In that case, neither school is worth $80K of additional debt. Not when UGA or GT both have fine Business schools. If you can attend USC without incuring that much debt, then it’s an option.

Good Luck!
