I'm an Indian female from New Jersey. Is there really anything else that needs to be said? As it is, after hearing horror stories regarding affirmative action, I've decided to take precautionary measures.

Please note that as of now, I am a sophomore. However, I really want to know if I'm on the right track... or what I can do to get on the right track for schools such as Stanford/Harvard/etc.

Any thoughts /comments/suggestions are highly welcomed as long as they are not derogatory. I understand that some of you might feel that it is ridiculous for a 10th grader to be doing this, but I feel like I may be disadvantaged (Asian female from NJ) and want to see what I can do to maximize my potential for getting into an Ivy/Stanford type school.

Thank you! :)
