Gah!

Dude, this wait is absolutely killing me! I love Barnard so much, and I’m just praying to find an acceptance package in the mail. How are you all dealing with the stress?

by walking briskly to and from the mailbox every thirty minutes. Doesn't the mailbox look so extraordinarily sad with no mail inside?

Screaming maniacally.

I'm only half-joking! :)

Haha who says we're dealing with the stress? I'm about to go crazy.

ugh i just got rejected from a school with similar selectivity so now i am more stressed out and doubting my chances. hopefully we'll get our letters on monday, i need this wait to be over with!

I'm sorry, constellationx :(
You'll still get into an awesome school...maybe Barnard!

hey its ok, it wasn't my top choice but it definitely hurt. that was my first letter so its just a downer...oh well. now i'm just concerned about barnard because that's probably my top choice.

Think of it this way...maybe it's a sign that you're meant to go to Barnard!

(I'm typically not this optimistic when it comes to college admissions, haha! Little ol' neurotic me.)

haha, i appreciate the optimism right now! :)

If acceptances are priority mailed, is there any hope that we'll receive them by saturday if we live in new york?
i keep thinking i might get something, anything, even though they say it's mailed out friday...

Hey, how long does it take for a letter to reach the West Coast from NY?
I used to feel somewhat lukewarm about Barnard - applied because a friend went there. Now, however, I love the school! We find out so soon . . .

moose35, I live in New York, too. Depends on where in NY you live. If you live in one of the five boroughs, then probably Saturday. Otherwise, I'd count on Monday. You never know, though!

zahra, I'd think you'd get your letter sometime during the middle of next week. But don't quote me on that! I don't work for the Postal Service :)

NatalyaBoberto - any news..?
