My D created her permanent netID and passwd after receiving application ID through email.
When accessed to the site for her application staus, she found application fee are missing.
She requested application fee waiver (with 11/16 scholar day visit) and so this should be ok.
But her current application status in the web site indicates that "Thank you for your application to The University of Texas at Dallas. Your application is currently under review. "
If we want to know her acceptance before the scholar day(11/16), should we pay the application fee ?
She wants to get admission information in 2-3 weeks from now in order to apply for UT-PACT/Collegium V.
Please let me know if you have any experience, regarding acceptance status.

It can take 4 - 6 weeks to get an admission dec on a complete application. The application fee will not have an impact on the speed of processing. Students who fall under the “auto admission” will typically get faster admission decisions on complete applications.

Students who attend Scholars Day will get a fee waiver AFTER they attend the event. It is important for studnets/families to arrive by check in at 8:00am in the Visitor’s Center. It can take two to three weeks after Scholar’s Day for all application fee waivers to be applied.

The best thing you can do right now is confirm the application is complete and the admission office has all required materials. Use this website to find out which admission counselor is assisgned to your daughters high school: [Advisor Locator | High School and Transfer Counselors | The University of Texas at Dallas](http://www.utdallas.edu/counselors/locator/)

You can also call 972-883-2270.

^UTDComet, Thanks for the advisor locator information. I will contact them.

My D got an admit offer from UTD per Galaxy application status site. Is anybody know how and when she will know that she can get a scholarship like AES ?

Wow! She got her admit letter quickly. How many days/weeks did it take from the date of her completed application?

The scholarship committee meetings have a slightly different timeline every year. My guess is she will hear back in December.

She applied in 10/6 and sent SAT scores in 10/17 by collegeboard.
Galaxy site indicated that UTD received her SAT in 10/24 and changed her status to admit in 10/24.
By the way, she is “auto-admit status” based on her rank. (I didn’t know UTD still needed SAT scores for final decision, though.)

Awesome, congrats to your daugther!

Yes, UTD requires all required documents before making an admission dec.
