Anyone know how selective Gallatin is? Would you say comparable to stern, or CAS? What about for transfer admissions, is Gallatin accepting of transfers or do they only take like 20 or 30 since its such a small program.

It is probably more comparable to CAS than to Stern. No idea of transfers, though. Try e-mailing the transfer coordinator for Gallatin.

i sometimes hear it is a bit easier to get into than cas

according to the college counselor at my high school, the essay is the most important part of the Gallatin admission process. CAS values SAT scores the most, and Stern looks most at the high school transcript.

Stern - GPA and transcript
CAS - SAT scores
Gallatin - essay and personal statements

seriously
wow
i might just apply cas than instead of gallatin(next year im applyin ed to nyu)
