Gallatin, anyone?

I know there have been a few posts here and there but can we get a roll call (plus stats possibly?) of people who have been admitted to Gallatin?

My D (in the SF Bay area) got the Gallatin (her first choice) congrats card. :)

I got an invitation, so I guess I'm in. :-)

SAT: 2010 CR610 M700 W700
SATII: Math II 710, US History 710
GPA: 3.71UW/4.01W
EC's: Piano (13 years), violin (11 years), guitar (2 years), music theory, Music Club founder/president at my school, health club vice president, random community services that involve music or tutoring...
17 honors/AP's by graduation
Essay: I wasn't totally happy with it, but I guess it was good enough
Recs: I didn't read them

My numbers aren't great, but in my common app supplement for the last question asking why I chose the school, I stated that I want to study music and business (something along the lines of entrepreneurship). Cheesy as it may sound, I think I actually said it was my "dream school" somewhere in there....

Anyone else get in? NYU's my first choice, but my parents don't want me to go...

btw, I'm from SoCal

I got in a couple of days ago now, my stats are in the other thread :D

likeawillow, I noticed that you got into Thornton for music industry. Congratulations! I applied for it too but I haven't heard back from USC yet. It's a funny coincidence that we both applied music industry at USC but chose Gallatin over Steinhardt at NYU. :-D

yaaaaaaaaaa i got a little card from Gallatin saying that I will be accepted... exciting!

I got my 'congrats' card yesterday. I am anxious to receive my financial aid award. I'm hoping (likely in vain) to get one of the merit scholarships for Gallatin.

I can't believe I got into my first choice. Man, I've never been more stoked in my entire life.
