After reading extensively about this program this is right up my alley. The thing is as is i am already a "borderline" candidate for this school, so is Gallatin easier or harder to get into? Any insight you may have would be most appreciated.

easier or harder than what specific school? Than getting into NYU in general or CAS?

yes getting into CAS? I thought you cannot apply directly to the general studies program? Gallatin sounds very appealing to me but not sure if its harder or easier..do you know? Thanks.

I'm a Gallatin student, but I can't really say if it's easier or harder to get into than other schools. My GPA is lower than the suggested average, but my test scores were higher and I had excellent EC's. I have heard, however, that Gallatin focuses more on the personal aspects of your application (i.e. essay) than the other schools. Gallatin is an amazing program and I hope you make it. Good luck!

From what I have heard, Gallatin is harder to get in to. I don't know why that is though.
