<p>For those of you applying to Gallatin and doing the Why Gallatin essay, how did you attatch it to the commonapp? The website says not to put specific college essays on the main part and I wouldn't want to submit that essay to every college that I'm applying to. Can't I just put it in the additional information section, submit for NYU only, then change it for the other after?</p>
<p>As far as I knew there wasn’t a Gallatin specific essay, I just wrote my common app essay and my supplement. I would love feedback form someone who knows the answer to the OP’s question because if I have to write an essay in the next 10 days or so I’d like to know.</p>

<p>I figured out the answer on my own. On the commonapp you can complete multiple versions so what I did is made a document with my essay and resume combined and then submitted that application only to nyu. After that you can go make an alternate copy which has all the same general information filled out but there are no documents uploaded, so then you can just upload you’re common app essay and your addtional information again for the other schools that you’re applying to.</p>
