Game Design Devlopment Vs. Computer Science

<p>I am very interested in the GDD (Game Design and Development) Major at RIT. However, one must question the credibility of a major that has playing video games as the homework. Is this a major that will be worthwhile pursuing if I am interested in it? If I am only 70% sure of GDD should I take it anyway? (In other words, if I major in GDD and then choose to work for the governemnt, will this degree be apt?)</p>
