Game of Nerds - This seems up this website's alley

a) I saw that. I was referencing the release of email address information.

b) I’m regretful I didn’t catch the drift, but I thought this was a serious issue that people should be made aware of. My intentions were not of malice.

c) Fortunately, my email has no comprising information. Others might not be so fortunate. Having important documents or not is beside the point. An individual should not have to worry about having their email account(s) hacked into.

d) You seem to be comparing apples to oranges. Common sense would help had I broken my leg in a jungle or desert. I would be unlikely to be heard. Predators would easily find me provided the loud noise given. But this is the internet, and the internet has different rules.

And why not? It’s certainly something that isn’t pleasant, but not worrying about hacks leads to complacency when an unfortunate hack does occur. Perhaps worrying is a bit too extreme, but wariness and mental preparedness for such a situation is a must.

It’s a serious issue, yes. But what about e-mailing the GoN moderator/administrator on the site’s e-mail button instead of posting in an online forum. With or without malice, I can’t help but think that your post exacerbated the situation. To what extent, I’m not sure.

Hopefully, everything turns out OK. GoN seems like a very promising game; I really hope it goes viral.

Just got the question:

Which of the following = cos(x)
Answers were like:
sin(x) + 90 degrees
sin(x) * 90 degrees
[forgot other one - maybe sin(x) - 90?]

It definitely made no sense. Did they mean sin(90 degrees - x)?

There’s also the “what is the derivative of e” question. And the supposedly correct answer isn’t 0. -___-

Just managed to get the top score for season two  I’m sure it will be surpassed within a day though lol

And now QXZ has already passed me up! CC pride
