Game Programming B.S.

Is there any college that offers a true game programming program? I'm not looking for graphics or whatever i'm interested in ai, scripting, creating client and network programs, being able to design a complete game that has online capabilites by the end of the course.

looking for something like this if anyone knows something pls msg me and reply.

thanks.

The closest thing I can think of is WPI’s Interactive Media and Game Development program, but that does incorporate aspects of graphics, by necessity. It’s hard to ignore art when designing video games.

check Rochester Institute of Technology

Maybe Champlain but I am not sure.

Found this by googling:

If you are a current junior, RIT has an “exploring college options” overnight for the summer between junior and senior year; you could go see the campus and get some ideas about careers and about going to college in general. I have heard that students really enjoy this.

RIT is strong in areas related to computer graphics.

Digipen Institute of Technology, next to Nintendo in Redmond, Washington offers this. They only offer game programming and animation degrees, so be 100% sure this is what you want before you go there.

I believe Georgia Tech and USC may also offer this.

I think Marist (Poughkeepsie, NY) has a game design program.

There’s also Full Sail in Florida which is more of a trade school than a university.
