<p>chuy, he’s attracted to different schools for different reasons. WPI’s got an innovative curriculum, heavily project oriented, with the option of overseas projects that he likes. For VT, it’s the D1 football and school spirit, the whole Hokie Nation thing. He doesn’t have a set list of things he’s looking for, but finds different things attractive about different schools. Of course, this is all conditioned on my wallet… VT is clearly his first choice, but if the money doesn’t work out anywhere, he’ll end up at UMass (which is by no means a bad destination!). It’s possible I’ll send him to VT without any aid, but that will take a lot of hard thinking and decisions…</p>
