Gaming and College (How much time should I spend studying?)

rofl priest nubs
i used to be a warlock when it was overpowered
and i think they still are

anyways, quit WOW. I did and I realized how much time I wasted.
go bang some girls or something

wow u guys are nerds....but seriously, quit the game and make some friends, u will thank me when u dont want to kill ur self

I am a nightelf priest :( Anyone who understands priests understands why that sucks hardcore.

What kind of a question is the OP asking?

It's his college life, he dictates how much time he wants to spend playing videogames. If he wants to ace every class AND play 4 hours of videogames, then he better be pretty damn intelligent. It all depends on what he wants to make out of his college experience.

I did some gaming in college, but never WoW. I tried to play games like halo 3, FEAR, NCAA football, and other games I could play with other people so I could get my gaming fix, and still be social at the same time.

Stop playing WOW! It will eat your soul!!!

get a life...

/pity

I also played NE priest hence one of the reasons why I quit the game.

i never even played it. I never gave the game a chance once i decided some 4 years ago that i hated all MMORPGs

I've played on and off for varying marathons of time. To tell you the truth it's not really the game itself (I can quit when I want! I CAN QUIT WHEN I WANT!!!), just the sheer force of will my procastrination demons have. If it isn't WoW it's internet fora, TV, re-organizing my books.

Make it a habit to never, ever, prioritize anything non-vital over schoolwork. I usually get by with minimal studying for long stretches of time, but then I get back into the groove again and realize I not only need to blow off friends and computers for a while, it's actually fun to study.

It's gotten much much better for me since I found more challenging professors with interesting assignments, definitely something I recommend for anyone that enjoys learning but needs a shove in the butt sometimes. Good professors make you deal with challenges, not busywork - and it's always the busywork that triggers my procastrination lvl 20.
