I know coming to a bigger city was a big draw for me when it came to deciding where to go. Not everyone is afraid to move a little out of their comfort zone.

Before you say Baltimore sucks, come spend some time in Iowa...

I absolutely LOVE Baltimore. Of course, I also know where to go and where not to go. If you're driving a new BMW or Mercedes, you need to avoid about 80% of the town. But what a town. I love it.

Yeah I know people that are in LOVE with the city and others that are so-so. I'm looking forward to spending more time in Baltimore myself :)

it'd be stupid to deny that baltimore is a dangerous city, but it's one of many.
not sure i'd want to spend my 4 years in college in a completely safe, sheltered atmosphere/city ...

hehe...i just want to say something after looking through cc for individual colleges just for fun...i click back at hopkin's tab and wow first thing that i see is the glorious thread name "Gangsters at JHU" lol

i'd be interested to see how some of us view baltimore next year once we actually attend JHU. there may be diff opinions once we're actually on campus for an extended period of time (rather than a 1 day visit to Baltimore for a campus visit). we'll see :/
