<p>It is considered to be academic dishonesty. You are obligated to provide full official records of all of your previous academic work. Period. Good transcripts, bad transcripts, and anything in between. I was almost booted from a graduate level program because I had overlooked sending an official transcript for one course that I had taken in the summer more than 30 (yes, thirty) years before. Colleges and universities take this very seriously. Fortunately in my case, all I had to do was have an official copy of that missing transcript sent to the university where I was currently enrolled. Other people aren’t that lucky.</p>
