So I am another student from Nepal who got rejected from every University that I applied. I’m thinking about taking a gap year but I’m worried that I may not be able to do anything significant to boost my profile this year. Still, I think I learned a lot this year so I guess I’ll give it a shot. Are there any other students thinking of doing the same? If yes, then maybe we could be in touch.

I am taking a gap year too.
You should be engaged in any area e.g volunteering, teaching in school, robotics project, your own project. Gap year will also help you to better prepare SAT, TOEFL, Essay etc. Don’t worry. Best of luck.
