Gap year - warning

<p>My daughter is finishing a gap year. It has been very successful (that is another post) and she is going to school in September at her first choice school. </p>

<p>BUT- - - </p>

<p>One problem I had not anticipated is the health insurance problem. She aged off our family policy at 19 (this past spring). Fortunately, because she is working and self supporting, she is able to get low income health insurance through NY state. I don't know what students who don't work do about health insurance. </p>

<p>Be sure to check this out as part of your gap year plan!</p>
