Hey guys… I am already high school graduate ( i did +2) I graduated last year( august 2018). I am currently on my gap year I guess, and I haven’t applied to any colleges for fall 2019? Do you suggest me to apply for fall 2020 taking an extra gap year? Is it a bad idea? Did anyone had gap years similar to me?
If you don’t need financial aid, you can still apply to several universities, especially since in early May a list ("NACACé) of universities that miscalculated yield will be published.
If you need financial aid, a gap year is fine, as long as 1° you’ve been doing something all these years (work, volunteering/community service…) 2° you had decent grades in HS 3° you take the required tests and score well.
