Gaps between classes?

I know this is personal preference, but I was wondering if people prefer to have their classes back to back or to have time during classes to eat, study, etc. Any experiences to share?

I don’t know what you’ll get out of my schedule preference but since you are so curious, I like to have my classes without long breaks in between.

back to back to back to back to back for sure.

Back to back all the way. And you can eat in class (well, some/most classes).

Back to back. Unfortunately I effed up my schedule next semester and I have literally NO stacks. Hahahaha.

so why does everybody like back to back? is it because you get a little lazy in between to return to your next class about 4 or 5 hours later?

I do not like having breaks of an hour or more in between classes because it ultimately prolongs the same task of completing one’s classes.

when it says that a class starts at let’s say 1PM is that when the actual lecture begins or can you be a little late? does the same go for labs as well?

Everything starts 10 minutes after the proposed class time since everything goes according to Berkeley time. So if you have a class at 1 PM, it really will start at 1:10 to give you time to travel between classes.

lecture starts 10 minutes after the hour for all classes/labs/discussions. it’s called berkeley time.
