I just got a notification saying I was accepted!!! Presumably my queue position on the waitlist must have been high? Idk…but I’m SO ecstatic!

what are y’all doing to prepare for the program? the chem and other stem programs at my school are pretty weak, so I’m trying to read up a bit before coming. Any reading materials or other things to do that y’all would recommend?

But actually, I have no idea how to prepare. I mean, other than generally learning about polymers/materials science, or maybe looking at abstracts from past Garcia attendees, I don’t think there’s much you can do until you actually get there and receive your lab placement.
