Has anyone had experience or heard anything about Sterling Apartments (now garnet river walk)? D is there this year and I'm getting nervous!! Where's French House?

if that is Sterling by the River apts S did look at them and liked them.Right over the Blossom St Bridge? It was out of the price range of his roommates as they are private bathrooms for each bedroom and S's complex shares bathrooms (one for every two bedrooms)and therefore the prices are lower. Sterling is only one year old and theres a free plasma TV in the living rooms!! (S loved that feature...)
He says its in a good location..not as close to the train noise..your D should understand that he says... and they have a campus shuttle too.The clubhouse and pool were pretty nice he says.....
French House is on the campus somewhere. In one of the older houses with big apt type spaces apparently.

Thank you for the info, Cathymee. As always, you are very helpful. :)

D is living in Phase Two of Copper Beech which is brand new this year. She is in a 4 bedrooms with 4 1/2 baths, it's only slightly more expensive furnished than unfurnished. They have smaller units available but with three roommates this made it less expensive than living on the sorority house last year and she has her own bedroom and bathroom. They are a national student housing company with facilities all across the country.

I live in Sterling (Garnet River Walk). The apartments are really nice, but I get really annoyed sometimes because there's always a lot of underage kids around drinking and disrupting other residents. That is to be expected at any college apartment complex though I suppose. Other than that I love having my own big bedroom and bathroom. Everything is new and clean. The staff is also really nice. There's a nice pool, hot tub, gym, and computer lab also.

do you find as much drinking there as at other complexes? S says some have reps for more drinking, and therefore more SLED law enforcement officers around.... than others.Sorry eadad but last year Copper Beech had that rep(deserved or not) I think b/c many fraternity members reside there.
