<p>Do you think writing in second person is too risk? I think I really convey my points better that way.</p>
<p>I don’t think it is risky. I think I wrote some parts of my essay in 2nd person (I think it was an intro, kinda corny, but who knows?)</p>
<p>When 2nd person is needed or desired, it should be used. I don’t think it’s stigmatized in any literary communities (right?). It’s just not as common because it shouldn’t be. first is personal narration, third is most novels and such, which leaves very little ground for the 2nd person to be utilized.</p>
<p>Okay. I think it gives a lot more of a confrontational tone to my writing — and that’s what I’m aiming for with this topic. Thanks.</p>
