<p>Honestly you need to be careful about letting people on the internet read your essays.At the very least read through a bunch their posts to make sure you sort of understand that who they are. I know this seems paranoid but better safe than sorry. I certainly wouldn’t have wanted my DS to have others he didn’t know have his essay.</p>
<p>Yeah, I’m aware that plagiarism is a possibility, so I just make sure I check whether or not the person is applying to the same school(s) I am and I wasn’t planning to send it out to more than a couple people. In any case, muhammad provided me with some good constructive criticism which saved my essay from sounding a little cliche. But I understand what you mean and I’ll make sure I pay attention to who reads it. I just wanted someone I don’t know to read it because in the end, the adcomm doesn’t exactly know you personally and may not understand certain aspects as well as my college counselor.</p>
