<p>@thgml784 I have applied for 6, Purdue has rejected me(maybe my gpa is not good(3.76))…others are still considering my application…I am thinking of applying some 2/3 tier schools for safety…btw, congratulation!I should visit that place if you be my guide XD</p>
<p>I applied to 4 schools. I’m still in consideration for all of them as far as I know.</p>
<p>My GPA is only a 3.4, but I don’t know how many people transfer from Virginia Tech to another four year school, so that might work in my favor. Plus, I have a lot of CS classes I have already taken (if you solely consider CS classes [also the major I am applying for] I have a 3.9ish). I’ve taken 3 CS classes so far that were A-F, my lowest grade being an A-, and am currently in 3 more for this semester. Virginia Tech is also not known for high GPAs.</p>
<p>Oh I got accepted from maryland!!! Anyway, one more week for waiting for georgia tech!!!</p>

<p>@thgml784: Thanks! I think I was supposed to actually get my decision in March, but when I went up there, the admissions counselor I talked to said he just finished looking over my documents so I guess they decided to keep me in suspense and push my decision to April. </p>
<p>@jenson123: A 3.76 gpa is still really good for getting in! Don’t let my gpa be a deterring factor. I think it’s just because I made sure all my required documents were sent in and received that I was able to hear back from them early.</p>
<p>@jbaek60: I found out I was accepted yesterday. I was bored so I decided to check my Buzzport and I saw that my application status changed from “File Under Review” to “Accepted”</p>
