Lacrosse Team member 2001-2005

Nominated for Lacrosse All-American

Received varsity letter sophomore and junior years (and expected in my senior year)

^ I must admit, that is impressive and serves as a hook.

i can take criticism but you just seem like a complete jerk i'm sorry. I honestly can't say I agree with anything you've said. You really need to grow up. That's great that people say you stand a good chance at your schools, but virtually that means nothing and honestly what the criticism you gave me says nothing. I've realized after being on this site that these are students replying to students that have absolutely no idea about the college process and are just completely freaked out about if they will get into this school and that school so they try to give people advice that means nothing. I guess you do have a life outside of books, but i can tell from your "personality" that you don't have tons of friends. really. I dont think you'll be academically qualified for college cause you'll have to study a lot more than a max of 30 min. a night but good luck anways!

thanks for one nice comment--but you r probably mocking me

Oh and one more thing...if you think my ECs/awards are lackluster...I can easily expand
I could easily list exams passed with various levels of distinction in piano:

Theory I distinction
Theory 2 distinction
theory 3 distinction

Examination level 2: Pass
Examination level 3: Honor
Examination level 4: Distinction
Examination level 5:TBD
Examination level 6:TBD

Various Recitals

Competition participant 10th grade, advance to state 11th grade

etc. I can easily make myself look better. I chose to be concise.

Yeah i could do the same thing-i choose to be concise. but really we should just say one nice thing about eachother cause i'm starting to warm up to you.

cause i think this is ****ing halarious. writing on a site about college arguing--priceless

I already did. Nice lacrosse stats. first thing i noticed.

thanks-you have good grades i can say- and good sat scores and fairly good ec's. i'm really not a stuck up ***** i swear. it's just i like arguing and standing up for myself. maybe i should be a lawyer...

well then you're just like me. argumentative. I'm attracted to b itchy women

just kidding ;)

haha not b itchy all the time. just don't take crap from people, i like it that way. But thanks for the criticism anyway. I know I most definitly won't get into Colgate-but it was worth a shot and I don't like to give up so I didn't want to assume i would be rejected. if u never try then why do anything...?

well actually...you can get in. i overlooked your lacrosse. lacrosse is big on east coast. location will help. you will for sure get in if you play for their team...

yeah i don't know. the only plus's r i play lax, i am from the west, my sis goes there-and is very very good friends w/dean. met him 3 times, communicate with him weekly. send journalism articles, and just had overall enthusiasm. hopefully one of those will help me.

jeez lolok1214 you r being way to nice now. i thougth this would never happen i thought u would always been an *******

location (private college), lax, and sister makes up for GPA easiliy. plus, you're from a private school (overlooked that too). you'll be fine. (i think) colgate actually has a rep for admitting people with strong ECs rather than academics. didn't want to tell ya that earlier :-o

for the record *I have friends. And a girlfriend who puts up with me.

you would always be** IREALLY DON"T hAVE BAD GRAMMEr--just type way toooo fast

sorry i said you had no friends--just got that impression cause i judged you haha. i'm sure you're a great guy...

people r definitly going to look at this convo cause it was def heated

I was just going to say the same thing. Us two yelling back and forth...lol im sure some non-members have been watching in awe.

well--good luck w/college, are you a junior? thanks for the advice---
