<p>Yes, right now. 3 minutes ago!!! I was just talking about it… and my sister says “i hope you get it” … I check my email and there it is!</p>
<p>i’m pretty much ready to cry.</p>
<p>i put So much into this app just as I’m sure the rest of you guys have; I actually wasn’t worried about the finalists selection process for I was Sure i’d get selected.
But reality hit in the last couple of weeks and the doubts have become overwhelming.
As of now, I’ve had no email; Nothing in the mail; I called and didn’t get the 0-5 message;
And Now that I compare my stats with others my measly 3.5 GPA and 1630 SAT is no competition.</p>
<p>And for some odd reason although 86% of me has given up, that remaining 14% is driving me insane.</p>
<p>For all of you who have recieved Finalists notifications, CONGRATS & Good Luck with the rest of the process!
And for those of you like me, I feel you.</p>

<p>Don’t lose hope, guys! It’s still very early. I’m a finalist and I still got the 0-5 option, so that doesn’t mean anything. Be patient and stay positive. I’ll share my stats with you all…I’m in the top 10% of my class, rank 34 out of 467, 3.5 cumulative unweighted gpa, 3.83 weighted. I participate in CSF, and varsity volleyball and basketball. All of my volunteer hours came from church basically, and a little here and there at school. If I made it, anyone can <3. Stay up :)</p>

<p>This waiting period is so nerve-racking my heart paces every time I conjure up a new email in the in box. To the fellow nominee’s best of luck, I am super happy for those who got the finalist letter!!! Now if you’d excuse me, I think I going to throw up a little, I am a little nervous… ;D</p>

<p>Might as well post my status as a finalist. Asian from Miami, FL. I applied for Gates and APISAF, but received the Gates Millennium Scholars Finalist notification. I received the email at 10:25 this morning when I was at school and decided to check my email. Pretty interesting as students stared at me screaming at the screen. :P</p>
