<p>Still haven’t received anything. Has anyone in Alabama received anything? Last year, one of the applicant in my school received it at the end of March / early April. The only thing giving me hope and the fact that 2 other students have not heard back either. At least 2 students usually receive the scholarship at my high school.</p>

<p>@Anotherindiankid: Two other people and I applied from my school. I’m the only one who got a notification so far. And I also got a notification from the USA Funds Scholarship today. I’m going to submit that package on 4/6 since I really don’t feel like caring about it right now. =]</p>

<p>I really don’t think they do it by last name. I checked the other posts, and there are finalists in almost all alphabetic ranges.</p>
<p>fwiw, finalists are notified by email first, and then mail. and he’s hispanic.</p>

<p>hi i just went through my email list and saw that a recommender form confirmation submission wasnt there, so im pretty scared but i saw her submit the form online so…anyone has the problem of not finding their “confirmation emails”?</p>

<p>My daughter’s recommender form confirmation never showed up either. We called to check on it and they told us they couldn’t confirm that it was received, but that we shouldn’t worry about it…something about there being two systems. Pretty scary to do all that work and not be able to verify a confirmation…

<p>Thank you for the info regarding pell grant eligibility. Like I said, I’m Hispanic, from NC, and my last name starts with a P. I’m a bit bummed that I can’t win the award even though I’m a finalist, but best of luck to you who are eligible! :)</p>

<p>hey I just called and when i entered my Id reg number and SS number it says is not on their system but i got all three confirmation email from GMS.am so scared …do you have to be worried about it???</p>
