So has anyone actually gotten an email saying they got it or seen an update on their status page?
For those of you who have been able to login to the finalist portal, what does it say underneath application status when you login to the original application?
Just to remind you guys (let’s not all go haywire now) that last year, or at least the previous years, they have released the finalists in waves so you might not be able to know just yet.
I logged in to the regular website and it said my application was processing 
I am so nevous. Good luck to you all, and for those who made it as finalists, CONGRATULATIONS! you guys definitely deserve it!!! 
I am an African American from Ohio and I have not received an email yet. I hope I am selected as finalist, but just wish me luck and congratulations to all of those who were selected!!!

Those who were able to log in what nationality are you? I wasn’t able to log in :(( I guess I didn’t make it through

Do they still send out an email even if you didn’t make it, or do they only send emails to the finalists?
They send emails yo everyone. If you made it as a finalist, it will say so in the email, but If not, it will tell you to log on. At least that’s what I’ve been hearing. I haven’t gotten anything yet and I logged on to the website and it said mine is still processing.
Has anyone here though actually seen the email saying they’re a finalist or a change on their gates millennium scholarship portal page. Because using the link here it says I’m a finalist but I haven’t actually seen an email saying that. Why wouldn’t I have received that yet if I could log into the portal.
@sdlm15 did you log into the website that was posted on here or the normal application website? Cause I logged into the application website and it says its processing, but the link that was put on here doesn’t log me in. But @NIHHIHH in the application page does yours still say “processing” or does it say finalist?
For those wondering, I am african American( profile picture).
My package status still says processing!
Since it was not intended for us to find out this way, DON’T give up hope. Don’t count yourself out until you receive the official email!

@liz1497 I logged into the regular website, and @NIHHIHH, you will most likely recieve an email in the next few hours. Im sure that website was not meant for everyone to use, but it’s a process to add a group of people on there and then send them emails. 
I haven’t checked on that link yet because I don’t want to ruin my day, hahaha I’ll check it eventually though
congrats @Marrissa I am so proud and I pray you win it because we talked a lot about it. Even if I do make it as a finalist, I am only going to care about it if my AP English Literature and Composition doesn’t kill my GPA and make it lower than it should be because she’s ten times worse than my Physics/Chemistry teacher who no one in my class does not have an A. lol.
