You have to see what is available. My D liked Webb, where she lived. She also lived in Cardinal & Gateway, which she didn’t like as much. Cardinal was quite old and not all that well maintained (have heard it is being/has been renovated). Gateway was over-priced and small, tho both of those places were pretty convenient, as was Webb (which was right on campus while the others were across the street). Sorry, don’t know that much about the other places you list.

Congrats–cardinal is VERY conveniently located. THe advantage of 4 people, 2 bedroom, is that you have 3x as great a chance of finding someone you really like. Most folks are able to make things work out just fine. It’s good that you are starting in the fall, when most folks are looking to make new friends. Go with an open mind & be friendly & you’ll do great! My kids have had no problems making & keeping friends at USC. Part-time jobs are other good ways to make friends & make some $$$$.

I lived in a 2 bedroom with three other people in Cardinal and had no issues. The again, I knew them before moving in – but in terms of sharing a bathroom and kitchen and space it shouldn’t give you problems.

I actually really liked living in Cardinal Gardens when it was all said and done.

My D liked the convenience of Cardinal but thought the heating was so old that they were afraid to turn it on, so they bundled up A LOT (it was a cold winter). I believe it may have been remodeled since she lived there. There were some lovely roses on the grounds. She & the other girls had no issues with the 4 of them living together. She knew one of the girls well & the other two just casually.

so i think i will go with cardinal gardens. its just the bedroom seems really small on the website thats why i am concerned to live with someone in such a small room but anyways…

Somehow, pretty much everyone manages. Some of the nice things about Cardinal is that there are lovely roses, there are a lot of students who are social and you can get to know and it’s VERY close to campus. You will do just FINE!

the CG 2b4p is fine lol. just make sure you make a chore chart/schedule during the first week you and your apartmentmates move in and you will be fine.

Let me rephrase what I wrote – the rooms aren’t huge by any means, but they are slightly larger than some of the other USC apartments and are larger than a dorm room.
