Gatorlink/Application Status Questions

So after making a Gatorlink and everything, I'm a bit lost on where exactly everything is...
How long does it take for them to receive transcripts (roughly) and where would I see that they have been received?
Same goes for test scores. I just want to know where to find everything to make sure my materials are all set :)

Any answer that can get as specific with details and directions as possible would be greatly appreciated!

I really just need to know where to look, haha

[University of Florida - Admissions](Login)
I sent my transcript electronically and they received it the next day.

Thank you! Will you get some kind of notification when they receive your transcripts? And where would you find that notification? Would it pop up on that status check box?
Or am I better off just calling admissions to check on them?

I’m sorry for all of the questions! :D

I see it as 3 Phases

Phase 1: It states the usual message, your application has been received, please allow 2-3 weeks for it to be processed… blah blah (To me this seems to take the longest!)

Phase 2: You get a screen where it shows what has and hasn’t been received (transcripts, scores, etc.)

Phase 3: You get the accepted/ not accepted message on the screen

Okay, so after I wait that two-three weeks or however long, the “Phase 2” screen will show up with my materials?

Simple enough! Thank you!

Actually I was in “Phase 2” two days after I applied.

Hmm. I wonder why mine hasn’t showed up by now, then. I applied back in the middle of October. I’llp call admissions on Monday to find out what they’ve received.

Maybe you should.

I applied last Monday. I got my GatorLink, and, after I applied for housing, I checked my status and it shows te dates when they received my application, transcripts, and scores.

Well, I haven’t applied for housing. Maybe that’s why. I’ll call tomorrow.

Thank you for all your help!

I also applied middle of October and applied for housing; its telling me to wait 5-6 weeks, so you’re not alone. Hopefully we’re good though lol

On my ISIS, it says this:

The Office of Admissions has completed a preliminary review of your application for admission.
Please look at the tables below to determine whether your application file is complete. Missing materials can delay your admission notification. If you have recently sent these materials, please allow processing time, especially around application deadlines; materials sent by regular mail take a minimum of two-to-three weeks’ processing time. Check your application status as often as you need to verify receipt of materials.

Said this two days later and has my score dates, transcript dates, and [yes] next to my application, application fee, and courses, etc. Is this Phase 1?

Yes, I haven’t seen that message at all yet, and I’ve been checking quite frequently since I’ve made my Gatorlink. So that must appear after the message they have on my ISIS right now. I just don’t know why it would take so long for me, especially since I submitted the application so early.

I give them a call at 352.392.1365 or email them at freshman@admissions.ufl.edu

Better safe than sorry!

Yeah, definitely. If there isn’t anything new by Friday afternoon, I’ll call them.

It takes a while since UF receives so many apps. I thought I would have gotten a decision already since I’m applying as a AA transfer for Spring 2013, which is right around the corner… so I’m feeling what you all are x2. Im on Phase 2 right now, and my app still needs to get sent to my college.

On a side note, I’ve been accepted to FSU so far.
