Is that really true? If a girl is remotely hot, guys can't be just friends with them?

Not to me. I have a ton of hot chick friends who I don't want anything more from.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! You are actually saying that you could just be friends with a hot girl, but nothing else????????? Wow! Thats ummm........ nvm.

The funniest thing I heard all the time in high school was, "guys and girls can never be just friends" and I heard that MOSTLY from girls who said it to me....

Do you think that most gay guys can't be just friends? I want to hear your theory.

I've been hearing a lot of reasons why gays get girls.

1) Gays are more casual around girls. They are able to relax.

(I am not tense around girls either. I just act as I usually do, rude and uncouth.)

2) Gays are willing to listen.

(I am willing to listen, although I may respond with a sarcastic statement.)

3) Gays are less concerned about being macho.

(I don't care about football, and I don't exercise more than 1 hour a day.)

The real reasons

1) Girls find gays erotic.

(Just like guys find lesbians erotic)

2) Girls can get close to gays without appearing to be flirting.

hahaha, all very good reasons

One of my best guy friends is gay. And he doesn't do anything girly with me. He's so strung up and feels like he has to be masculine to prove the point that he can be gay without being feminine. So... I hang out with him becausee we became friends; he really is quite painful to be around sometimes. My favorite thing he does is slip up and call me unattractive and then feel bad and apologize for five minutes.

yeah, i dont like gay people
peace

Wow, all of girls should be all over me! I'm straight but people constantly ask me if I'm gay. It's probably because I work at Abercrombie, I'm really short and skinny, I have lots of girl friends, I'm a singer and I don't play sports other than tennis at ungodly hours (I'm an insane college football fan though). I love shopping, talking and making fun of other people (and myself!) and I have a ton of gay friends. I can speak from experience, however, that girls don't want a straight "gay guys." You say you do, but it never gets passed the friend stage with people like me. I think girls really dig the whole macho-thing, but they want someone to listen to them sometimes. So what's really the deal?

lol, what? I would never get with a guy who seemed remotely gay.

......thanks (~goes and cries in a corner~)...lol. It's cool, I get it all the time!

from the way you type, I'd assume you were gay, no offense, lol

I think most gay guys are cute, not erotic gag.
But I know I would have no chance with him since he's not interested :(

if a guy is straight but has a "gay" personality then he is metrosexual and usually most of my best friends are and that reason is because they play a male role in you life that doesn't, well at least directly want to get in your pants. They tell you the truth verses what you wan to hear. I mean i do admit that they sometimes tend to start a little drama because they are completely honest but i rather hear the real, dirty truth than a fabricated one

girls have the face the truth: all guys except their male relatives (and even sometimes these too in West Virginia) want to get in their pants.

gay guys make cool friends a lot of the time :)

How about ugly girls with guy friends? Are they safe from that "I'm-your-friend-but-I'm-really-imagining-you-naked-right-now" thing?

Do you imagine ugly people naked?

Nah, I don't imagine anyone naked.
