Hey guys. I am currently a senior at high school, and I am planning on applying ED to Penn. However, I am currently in the closet (plan to come out to close friends before graduating high school). I've heard that UPenn is remarkably accepting of the LGBT community, which is great, but I'm more concerned with the social life for gay students at Penn:

For one, are gay students involved in frats? I'm interested in joining Greek life but only if I would feel accepted for who I am. There's a difference between being accepted in a community and being a cohesive part of a community in my mind.

Also, is it still possible to be a part of the party atmosphere if you aren't in a frat? I hear that there's a vibrant social scene at Penn aside from Greek life, but does that other social scene include parties, etc? I'm pretty social and I don't want to feel isolated if I decide not to join a frat.

Thank you so much! Any input would be much appreciated!!
