<p>I was accepted to Illinois, and wanted to know how the gay life is. I saw some organizations (two I think), but they didn't look that strong. idk. Also how is the atmosphere with students?</p>

<p>USSGA is one of the organizations I hear most about here at UIUC. Quite a few of my friends that are gay are active participants in it. I also know a lot of people who are in the organization itself but are straight. I think people are generally very accepting of others.</p>
