And I’m taking my GCSE maths this May.
So, do these grades give the impression that I’m on the Oxbridge track?

In a word, no. Most people take at least 10 subjects. How will you be able to cope with a tough college workload when you are taking half the number of school subjects compared with many other students? These are only mocks and most people's marks go down in the real thing due to outside markers not being as generous as teachers who actually know you.

Nick, you seem like someone who is desparate for reassurance all the time. This is at least the third time you have posted these stats (which are essentually meaningless since they are mocks.) on a different thread.

Are people putting you down at school all the time? What are we supposed to say? Do you just want an ego boost? You have already had many honest and caring replies. Now it's just getting annoying. You know as well as everyone else your grades are little better than average and it will be very tough for you to get into a selective college. So go away and work on it, if indeed you are really serious.

nah people aren't putting me down in school since nearly everyone has about the same grades as me, or worse.
I guess it might be insecurity rooted in my average academic history basically, my doubts about overcoming these slacker years, and my fear of not being accepted into/ my being intimidated by, schools such as Yale. But I'll have to hire a shrink to get to the bottom of that.
What I really need to do though is work, work, work.

Well what im looking for isn't reassurance really, rather opinions and advice based on these (okay) GCSE marks, which I forgot I mentioned before.
But you're right, all the time I spend here could be used studying. So I'm off.
