Anybody have an opinion of the class? I thought I liked it until now, but I have a feeling that I'm feeling blah about it because of midterms. But I'm kind of starting to regret not taking a science cluster instead, considering I really want to get those science GEs out of the way because I'm a north campus-er.

The whole four science course with two labs is seeming like a heavy load right now. Are there lots of good options for someone who is not good at science but wants to take interesting science courses?

I'm also a first year north campus major, but I've heard that Astro 3 with McLean is a pretty easy A, so I'm hoping to take it winter quarter (I really want to get the science GEs out of the way too!)

It doesn't matter if you get those science GEs out now or later - regardless, there are still going to be the same crappy GEs sans the real science courses. Examples:

IMO, most of them suck relative to the very cool North Campus GEs... it just comes with the poorly constructed division between N. and S. in terms of course diversity and a suggested divergence of ideas or bodies of information sans the technical vs. the fluffy -- or more appropriately, an inconsistent idea of division for the fields if they may be so constructed or reduced.

What does your science cluster satisfy? Please list your courses from last quarter and what science GEs or other are covered for the rest of the year.

1 Life Science w/ Lab,
1 Physical Science w/ Lab,
1 more Science course depending on which seminar I choose

Basically, I just need one more science class w/ or w/o lab credit to fulfill my entire science ge requirement. So should I just take a regular science class without the lab credit then?
