I just signed into my application. It had nothing to do with recommenders. I’m assuming it just hasn’t been updated yet. I thinking it would explicitly say that I have not been selected, if I was not.
@Mitrak I think if you have that link (some people do not) you are a semifinalist. Mine starts with, “As a semifinalist in the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program…”
Obviously we cannot know for sure if the people who do not have the links on their account are not semifinalists. The email will seal the deal.

Ok when I click on the “Supporting Documents Backpack” it says this:
As a semifinalist in the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program, you are required to submit the following documentation for verification of your submitted application data via upload by 11:59 PM Central by February 14, 2017:
No emails have been sent out yet I do not think. I guess I am assuming I am a semifinalist because on my account it is asking me for semifinalist documents, but why would they sent those out if the student was not a semifinalist? That would be cruel. Hopefully my assumption is right. @Student145852
No I don’t think that anyone has gotten the official rejection/acceptance email yet. We’re just trying to guess based on what our portals look like. None of this is really official until they send out emails.
On the side it says “*Any recommendations and/or supporting documents submitted by nonsemifinalists will NOT be reviewed and will be discarded.” which makes it sound like nonsemifinalists would also have those links

I just logged in, I forgot my scholarships america account username was different from all my others…oops! But yes, based on the portal and everything in the account, I would say everyone has the ability to access the semifinalist forms, but they will only review ones for semifinalists
