<p>You have to take six courses of GE, two of which must be writing and composition classes. The other four you can pick from a long list approved by CoE, so obviously you don't have to take history if you don't want to. </p>
<p>Yes, you can take them at a CC, but some English class is pretty easy and very manageable.</p>
<p>Typically, people mix in one or two breadth classes each semester along with their math and science classes.</p>
<p>honestly, its so easy to knock them out by taking random classes that i finished them by the end of my sophmore year without even realizing it</p>
