GED with with talent looking at Pratt

Hey guys i made another post telling people how i dropped out of high school and got my GED (worst idea i ever made)

anyway now that im 3 years older i feel ive gained a lot more sense of priorities and i want to start school again. I know im capable of being in college i just have no background at all and i don't know where to start.

I was looking into Pratt's industrial design program and I'm very excited about it.
I've been doing 3d modeling since i was about 15 and i really want to get into it.

What steps should i take to some sort of background up.

I live in central Jersey and the community colleges around here are Ocean county college and Brookdale.

You definetly did the right thing enrolling in the CC courses. I'm not too sure about this, but probably the best place to start would probably be with the guidance/academic counselors at the cc. They can give you the steps and help you get what you need to send to the different schools. Glad you started looking. Pratt is a really good school and it would probably be a lot of fun going to school in the NYC area. Here are some other schools to take a look at that also have Industrial Design as a major: RIT, Philadelphia University, Kean, Parsons and Wentworth. They are all pretty close too!
