this is what im reading off my preview booklet: "Any additional requirements the course meets are listed after the number of credits and in bold.

so Theater Appreciation (THE2000 3 credits) is under Humanities and has GE:D in bold.

Does taht mean it gives you 3 credits in Humanities and 3 in Diversity (6 total)?

thanks

gpowsang

not 6 total, but 3 in each category. its a 3 credit class, so you get 3 credits, but it counts as both 3 credits in H and 3 credits in D.

But “technically”" its a 3 credit class and u get 6credits out of it?

You get 3 credits, but you fulfill 3 hours of Humanities credit as well as fulfilling your Diversity requirement.

From the gened page:

Students can count a gen ed class toward one gen ed category only, except for “D” and “N” credits, which must be earned concurrently with another category.

Yeah, it’s not 6 credits towards your GPA, but it fulfills 6 Gen Ed. credit requirements.
