GenEd?

<p>As an incoming freshman, I have to follow the GenEd requirements to get my BA?</p>

<p>Yep, that’s how it works. It’s a lot like high school in that respect. In order to get your degree you have to take a certain number of required classes for EVERY student, regardless of their major. Usually they’re some sort of English & Advanced Composition class, a college level math, Biology, Humanities & Fine Arts courses. When you meet with your counselor at orientation they’ll explain all of that.</p>
