Hello! I wanted to know what some advantages were for college admissions. Like what are some examples and how much do they affect your acceptance for a college. I just want to see how they affect you. (ex: low income, first gen. etc…)
First gen, low income, URM are hooks. They’ll give you a slight bump if your stats already make you a competitive candidate for a school.
If you are a recruited athlete or your parents donated a building, you have a major advantage.
First gen, low income are not hooks. they are tip factors when used in conjunction with other factors.
